NMA SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2004-05 RECIPIENTS
OAKLAND, CA -- The NMA Scholarship Foundation released the names of the eight undergraduate students selected as recipients of scholarship grants for the 2004-05 academic school year.
Ron Gustafson, President of the NMA Scholarship Foundation, is pleased to announce the winners for this year. The following students were selected:
DeBenedetti Scholarship Scott Grumbles, California State University, Fresno
Edie Schmidt Scholarship Michelle Gorhum, Texas Tech University
Al Piccetti Award Jaime Paeschke, Oregon State University
NMA Scholarship Grant Stacy Loutzenhiser, Colorado State University Beth Sequeira, California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo Ann Gensmer, South Dakota State University Josh Powell, Texas A&M University Andrew Everts, South Dakota State University
The awards will be presented at National Meat Association’s Annual Meeting, which will be held during the association’s 59th annual convention in Las Vegas, NV, February 20-23, 2005.
The NMA Scholarship Foundation is administered by the Directors of the NMA Scholarship Foundation. These $2,000 to $2,500 merit-based awards are presented annually to undergraduate students studying Animal/Meat/Food Science and considering a career in the meat industry.
