NMA SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2002-03 RECIPIENTS
OAKLAND, CA -- The NMA Scholarship Foundation released the names of the eight college students selected as recipients of scholarship grants for the 2002-03 academic school year.
NMA Scholarship Foundation President Ron Gustafson is pleased to announce that the winners selected this year are:
DeBenedetti Scholarship – David Schroeder, University of Nebraska, Lincoln Edie Schmidt Scholarship – Jennifer Wonderly, California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo Al Piccetti Award – Kristin Leigh Voges, Texas A&M University NMA Scholarship Grant – Jessica Meisinger, Iowa State University Mindi Dannell Russell, Kansas State University Allison Adkins, University of Wisconsin Donald Andrew Moss, University of Nebraska, Lincoln Kelton Kale Mason, Texas A&M University
The awards will be presented at National Meat Association's Annual Meeting, which will be held during the association's 57th annual convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 2-5, 2003.
The NMA Scholarship Foundation is administered by its Directors. These $2,000 to $2,500 merit-based awards are presented annually to undergraduate students studying Animal/Meat/Food Science and considering a career in the meat industry.
